AIIMS, widely regarded as India's most prestigious government hospital, was hit by a ransomware attack on November 23, when staffs were initially unable to access the hospital's mainstay management tool, eHospital. A preliminary fact-finding report into the cyberattack that has crippled services at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in Delhi discovered a slew of cybersecurity flaws, according to people who reviewed the assessment, adding that the administration has been informed of how these issues led to hackers wreaking havoc on the network.
